Wifi is harmful to the environment?
A study conducted by a group of Dutch institutions indicated the relationship between networks and Wi-Fi deteorização plants in large cities, this all because of the radiation of the networks. The research was commissioned by the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn was conducted by Universidadde Wageningen. They wanted to discover if the number increased sources of electromagnetic radiation, for example antennas, can insomehow deteriorate the health of plants. Thus, the study concluded that the radiation of networks is rather detrimental to trees, causing significant variations in growth as well bleeding and fissures in the bark.
In urban problems had been noticed in the growth and plant development. In recent years plants have emerged with problems such as cracks, bumps, change colors and some forms of necrosis. After discarded the hypothesis of natural phenomena began toresearch to discover the real cause of the events.
For research, we selected samples of plants that have suffered for more three months and six sources of radiation, with frequencies ranging from 2412-2472 MHz and a power of 100 mW EIRP, they located only 50 cm distance.
After a few months, the leaves of plants that were facing the source of radiation showed a discoloration that appears to result from the disappearance cells of the outer layer of leaves, had a shiny appearance metallized. The researchers, after research, and understand the effects of radiation on plants, stated that we must conduct more studies to confirm the studies and thus establish the consequences of the effects of a longer long
